Although not a
native, Melissa has lived in Hot Springs most of her life.
She is married to Gary Lax, an attorney who has been serving
Hot Springs residents for over 27 years. She is the mother
of two boys, Brendan and Conrad, who attend Lake Hamilton
Schools.
